¿Qué es Jev?
Jev is TypeSafe AI's 'System One' frontier model designed for software automation. Rather than generating free-form text, it takes unstructured input state and returns typed, probabilistic decisions — Choice, Score, and Noul answers with calibrated probabilities that code can act on directly. Parallel sampling delivers response times of roughly 70–500ms, which the vendor states is about 20–200x faster and 40–400x cheaper than comparable LLM workflows, with output tokens free. Jev is available via console.typesafe.ai with no waitlist.
Características principales
Casos de uso
- Building automated decision-making into software pipelines
- Replacing LLM-based classification or scoring workflows with typed, probabilistic outputs
- Low-latency decision points where code needs a machine-actionable answer rather than text
¿Por qué las startups necesitan esta herramienta?
Jev targets a common pain point for engineering teams: using LLMs for decisions in code. By returning typed, probability-calibrated answers instead of text, it removes the need to parse and validate free-form model output, and its millisecond-scale responses make it viable for latency-sensitive automation paths.
