How does FeelMyMac create haptic textures?

It uses the Mac trackpad's Taptic Engine, the same technology found in iPhones, to simulate textures as you move the cursor or scroll.

Does FeelMyMac only provide feedback on clicks?

No. Unlike standard trackpad feedback, FeelMyMac lets you feel simulated surfaces during cursor movement and scrolling, and it can also play keyboard sounds.
