What is OpenPilot

OpenPilot is a free, open-source (MIT-licensed) desktop AI agent that works with any OpenAI-compatible model, including OpenAI, OpenRouter, Ollama, and LM Studio. You point it at a folder on your machine, and it can read and edit files, run commands, and use tools such as web search, MCP, and memory. Sensitive actions require your approval, so you stay in control. It currently supports Windows, with an early beta for macOS.
