Cubicle preview

What is Cubicle

Cubicle is an open-source, read-only visualization tool that shows AI coding agents—such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Paperclip—working in a live pixel-art office. Agents appear at desks, raise a hand when they need input, and move to the lounge when done. It includes a KPI task board, Telegram alerts with agents' questions, a phone view, and customizable themes with real faces and your logo. It runs with a single npx command, has zero dependencies, and is MIT licensed. By design it only watches; the one optional write is your own Telegram reply, posted as a comment.

Key Features

Live pixel-art office view showing AI agents working in real time
Supports Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Paperclip agents
KPI board for tracking tasks and agent status
Telegram alerts when agents have questions, with optional reply as a comment
Phone view plus pixel and HD themes with real faces and custom logo
Single npx command install with zero dependencies and MIT license

Use Cases

  • Monitoring multiple AI coding agents from a single live dashboard

  • Tracking agent task progress and outcomes on a KPI board
  • Checking agent status on the go via the phone view

Why do startups need this tool?

Cubicle gives small engineering teams a lightweight, zero-dependency way to supervise several AI coding agents at once, with visual status at a glance and Telegram alerts so founders and developers can stay hands-off until an agent actually needs them.
