What is Badgey
Badgey is an iPhone app that turns your phone into a name badge. When worn on a lanyard, the badge rotates to face the people you meet and swings as you move; when placed in a chest pocket, it adjusts so your name remains visible above the edge. The app supports several badges, a QR code linking to your own URL, and five badge designs.
Key Features
Use Cases
- Conferences and meetups where you need a name badge
- Networking events for sharing your link via QR code
- Office or team events without printed badges
Why do startups need this tool?
Badgey is a lightweight, single-purpose iOS tool that solves a small but recurring pain at conferences and networking events: no printed badge. For startup teams attending events, it turns a device everyone already carries into a presentable badge with a scannable QR link, requiring no extra hardware.
